International Congress of Fantastic Genre, Audiovisual and New Technologies

The International Congress of Fantastic Genre, Audiovisuals and New Technologies is a scientific and academic divulgation activity that is part of the Elche International Fantastic Film Festival – FANTAELX, whose main objective is the dissemination of investigations focused on the different thematic lines of the Fantastic genre, as well as its possible variants and platforms: film, television, theatre, literature, comics, history, video games, etc.

Throughout its history, the Congress has not only been attended by national and international researchers and professionals from centers such as the Technical University of Aachen (Germany), the National University of Costa Rica, the Luca School of Arts (Belgium), the University of Texas School of Law (United States), the Université Lumière Lyon 2 (France), the University of Aix-Marseille (France), the Ramon Llull University (Barcelona), the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona), the Complutense University of Madrid, the Polytechnic University of Valencia, or the Miguel Hernández University of Elche, among many others; but has also enjoyed a notable presence in media such as À Punt, Cadena SER, Sax Digital or the Diario Información, among others.
