Plataforma COMUNIC_A

The Plataforma COMUNIC_A (COMUNIC_A Platform) is a teaching innovation project that seeks to complement the training of students of the Degrees in Audiovisual Communication and Fine Arts through projects in the area of design and audiovisual in collaboration with the Association of Advertising Companies of the Province of Alicante 361º. Its area of action is divided into two main lines: an internship program in companies associated with 361º in which students work with professionals from the sector in the development of an advertising piece; and the COMUNIC_A Conferences, dedicated to promoting debate and research around audiovisual advertising, through talks and presentations.

Among the professionals who have collaborated in the project, members and directors of agencies such as Utopicum (Pepe Jeans, El Lobo, Grupo ASV, etc.), Grupoidex (Ipdentical, Funkas Alaska, Copoma, Nexa or the film Criando Ratas; among many others) or Udegafita (Leroy Merlin, El Corte Inglés, Red Cross, etc.) stand out. Thanks to their work and that of other participating agencies such as Webpositer, Tarsa or Dinamic Brain, several of the audiovisual pieces produced during the project have been awarded in the 17th and 18th edition of the Alce Awards. The results of this work have also been reported by different platforms and media, such as the Diario Información, UMH TV or the news platform of the Asociación de Empresas de Publicidad de la Provincia de Alicante 361º. The COMUNIC_A Platform received in 2017, the funding aid PIEU-2017/07 of the Programme for Educational Innovation UniversityPIEU-2017-18 of the University Miguel Hernández.
