PhD from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Doctorate Program in Art: production and research) with the qualification of outstanding cum laude and mention of Extraordinary Doctoral Award. Since 2014 he has been an associate professor in the Area of Aesthetics and Theory of the Arts, in the Department of Art at the Miguel Hernández University in Elche, teaching the subject “Theory and Practice of Editing and Montage” in the Degree in Audiovisual Communication. He is also part of the Massiva Research Group of the Art Department of this same University since its creation in 2015, with which he carries out numerous research projects, both theoretical and applied. He is also the Director of the UMH Film School, a pioneering educational program in applied training in the field of cinematography, Director of the Seminar on Creativity and Audiovisual Language, of which five editions have been held to date, and Co-Director of the International Seminar on Post-Production and Digital Art, of which four editions have been carried out.

In recent years, he has also participated as a judge in numerous qualifying festivals for the Goya Awards, such as the Elche International Independent Film Festival (2017, 2019 and 2020), the Alicante Festival (2019) and the Sant Joan d’Alacant Festival (2017-2018-2019-2020). Since 2013, he has also been working as a Communication Specialist in the Innovation and Technical Support Service for Teaching and Research at the Miguel Hernández University in Elche. With regard to his academic training, he also holds a Master’s degree in Visual Arts and Multimedia from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, a degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Alicante, a degree in Journalism from the University of Murcia and a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Also, since 2010 he has been developing his professional activity in the field of communication for different companies and institutions in which he has performed functions in various profiles, such as advertising creative, copywriter and text editor, audiovisual producer or video editor and postproducer.
